FAQ

Where is Blackwood Pet Food made?
Blackwood Pet Food is headquartered and manufactured in Lisbon, Ohio.

What is slow cooking and why is it different than other methods?
What comes to mind when you think of slow cooking? Fall-off-the-bone tender BBQ ribs? Grandma’s pot roast? These foods are traditionally made using a slow cooking method – low and slow. Slow cooking provides tender, nutrient rich foods for pet parents by breaking down tissues in the meat. The slow cooking process of pet food is aimed at breaking down starch.
